The internship placement location for Germany is in Berlin. This is where our Intrax Europe office is located so that we can guarantee in-person visits of companies as well as get-together events with students and personal meetings with Intrax staff.
Berlin deserves its reputation as the most international and dynamic city in Germany. The thriving start-up scene, cutting-edge collaboration of science, technology and services has turned Berlin into an innovation powerhouse. At the same time, Berlin is one of the most enjoyable and livable capital cities in the world with spectacular cultural events, a thrilling nightlife, reliable public transport, and all the amenities you can expect in a major European capital. It is fun to spend a few months here with German colleagues and alongside a growing number of ex-pats from all over the world. While we encourage students to start learning the language, German language skills are not a requirement for the program. Many companies are quite international with English being the main business language.
Let us know if you are interested in an internship in another city. While we would not do in-person company visits, placements may still be possible.
We have been placing students in business internships in Germany since 2011. Because Intrax has offices in San Francisco and Berlin, we are experts in outgoing and incoming internship programs, understand the perspective of students leaving their home country as well as how it feels to arrive on foreign grounds. We are easily assessible, and you will be in close communication with us before departure and on-site. Understand that our service stands out because we first work with you to fine-tune your application and gain a clear understanding of the best match for you. We work in good faith on your behalf knowing that your success is our success.
